Our Statement of Faith

We Believe:

  1. That the Holy Bible (Authorised King James Version), in its entirety, is the full and only inspired Word of God. We accept it as the final authority in all matters of doctrine, faith and life;
  2. That there is one God eternally existent in three Persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost;
  3. The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His future return to reign in power and glory;
  4. That man was created good and upright in the image of God, but man, by his voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
  5. That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance toward God and faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ – which is by grace and faith;
  6. That those who by faith receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children and heirs of God;
  7. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to everlasting damnation;
  8. In the blessed hope – the Rapture of the Church at the Lord Jesus’ coming;
  9. That the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances: believer’s baptism by immersion in water as a public witness and confession of faith and identification with Jesus Christ, and the Lord’s Supper, the partaking of the emblems – bread and the fruit of the vine – as a memorial by believers until He comes, of the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus;
  10. The baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification of the body of Christ;
  11. That the act of marriage as intended by God in the Holy Bible (Authorised King James Version) can only be concluded between a natural man and a natural woman.
